Since leaving wonderful HSC and the greater environs of Scottsbluff,
my wife, Toni, and I attended Washington State University in Pullman,
Wa. Graduated from WSU with a Masters Degree and quite a few hours
towards an incompleted Ph.D. Entered the insurance business as an
agent and worked for 30 years, finishing as a Regional Vice President
in the greater Northwest area. Toni has continued with her nursing
activities and still works as a home health care Registered Nurse
in eastern Mesa. We have four grown sons. The oldest is a physician,
married to another wonderful physician. They are expecting their first
child in Oct., that will be our fourth grandchild. Second oldest son
is currently attending Boise State University seeking his CIS degree.
Third eldest was a two-time All-American, drafted by the Cardinals.
He played for their minor league system a few years, now is the head
baseball coach at Northwest Nazarene University. Youngest son is in
the vacation planning industry, working for Trendwest. He attended
VMI, now married with two children. I am quasi-retired but still work
as a Certified Elder Planning Specialist dealing with issues relevant
to the 60 and up age category.
