Occupation: Sheriff - Retired Law Enforcement after 42 years

I can remember having to wear the HSC beanies as a Freshman and the upperclassmen making us do the "air raids" where we had to squat and cover our heads. I also remember Wild Bill who drove the bus between Skinner, the town and the college. We'd try to get on the bus to go to town and he would always say, "Ain't goin to town - goin to Skinner" in his toothless Gabby Hays way. I also remember the root beer stand in town, the dances in Gering. I will never forget the videos of David Janssen "the fugitive" as Richard Kimball trying to get all of us back east boys to come to school in Scottsbluff.
