Activities: After the school shut down athletics and cancelled
scholarships, I went to U. of Wyoming to play for one semester.
They moved me to defense, which is how I was recruited to HSC,
but with the provision I be given the opportunity to compete
at QB. I started all but one game at HSC in 1970 season, I think
we were 6-2-1. I had longest pass of season/stadium record,
95 yards to Jimmy Kennedy, who I think went on to play somewhere.I think we beat them 36-6 or something...too many blind slide hits, sorry
I enlisted
in the USMC in fall of 1971, stayed two years, play for the
USMC at Quantico, recruited by Texas A&M, played there 3
years, we made it to #2 in the nation before I broke my back
on national TV during the Texas game, which we won. Got married,
had kids, got divorced, got remarried, live and work in Mitchell,
NE. I wonder
does anyone have the 1970 football schedule, was Marshall on
the schedule for that year, I know we had played them or were
supposed to at some point. Thanks for
