Advertising.
After graduation I got into advertising in New York and worked on Madison Avenue for several years. I met a model and married and about a year later moved to Califoria. I love it here. The weather is much warmer than Nebraska but I miss the warm friendships I developed at Hiram Scott College. It was very sad for me when I learned that the college stopped operation. I felt it was unique and offered the sort of family environment that is so hard to find. Yet, even though it was small there were so many people from so many different parts of the country. All looking for something different from the usual offerings of the mega universities. I miss the era of the small educational facility and I feel that we as a society should also miss the many benefits that a learning institution such as Hiram Scott College once offered to a lucky few.
