Teacher.
The year after I graduated I went to the University of North Dakota
as a graduate assistant football coach. I was invited to come to UND
by Delman Wight who was a line coach at Hiram Scott. I stayed one
year and as I was heading back to my hometown in Pennsylvania I stopped
in Lorain, Ohio to see a friend, Danny Thompson whom I played football
with at Hiram Scott. He said why don't you apply for a teaching job.
I did and was hired. I have been in Lorain since 1973 as a teacher
and football coach. In 1974 I married a girl that I met from UND and
I was married in Fargo, North Dakota. I have two sons. Aaron who is
25 and a Spanish teacher at a local high school. He is getting married
this December 2002. My youngest who is 21 went to Univ. of Miami in
Oxford, Ohio for two years and is now touring the United States. The
greatest event of my life was in 1973 when I accepted Jesus Christ
as my Savior and from that point on I have had the most wonderful
life a person could dream. I will never forget Hiram Scott, friends,
teachers, college life,and football. Thanks for this web page and
not forgetting the "experience".
