Retired from Prudential
Anyone remember Crown Lanes? Even though I don't bowl much anymore
I have been a member of the PBA since 1992.
Since leaving HSC in 1969
I went to work for Gambles (Tempo) and
where we continue to live. I worked for them in retail management
from 1970 to 1987. Gambles went out of business and I moved back to
New Jersey and switched careers. I learned to be a mainframe computer
programmer and worked for Prudential in systems from 1987 to 2001.
At the end I was working on Prudential's demutualization and was lucky
to get a buyout and a bridge to 55 at which time my retirement started.
In 1974 I married a local
Scottsbluff girl that has followed me across the country while working
for Gambles and Prudential. We have two children John and Marcy. We
also have two grandchildren Elizabeth and Cody.
In 1991 Prudential transferred
me from New Jersey to Jacksonville Florida.
We lived in Jacksonville from 1991 until September 2009 when we moved to Jacksonville Beach, FL.
I currently enjoy being retired but I also have my real estate license and do that part time.
