Judicial Administrative Assistant to Chief United States District
Judge Irma E. Gonzalez Activities: After working in the Athletic
Department, I worked with oil companies in Scottsbluff. Moved
to Santa Cruz, California in 1969 then moved to San Diego in
1979 and worked in the legal field for several years. Joined
the State of California Superior Court judges as a judicial
secretary in 1984 then began a career in 2002 as an administrative
judicial assistant with United States District Judge Irma E.
Gonzalez, who was elevated to Chief Judge of the Southern District
of California in January 2005. Currently serve on the Board
of Directors for the First San Diego Courthouse, Inc. located
in Old Town State Park, San Diego, and hold the office of President
of the San Diego Area Chapter of Gold Star Wives of America,
Inc., a military widows support group.
Left behind
many relatives and friends in Scottsbluff with whom I visit
from time to time.
