University teacher .
After leaving Hiram Scott I attended the University of Colorado but
finally graduated from the University of New York at Buffalo. Since
1976 I have been living in Europe, first in Portugal, then three years
in England (where I did my post- graduate studies - University of
Manchester) and then again in Portugal. Although I have had two failed
marriages, I am now happily married to Mayte, a mathematician here
at the Unviersity of the Algarve where I also teach.
I have two adult daughters:
Alison, who has just graduated from the U. of Manchester, and now
works in Brussels; Marta who is studying psychology at the University
of Leicester, England. In addition I have two step-sons, Daniel 12
and Ivan 9 who live with us here in the south of Portugal.
Although my memories of
Hiram Scott and Scottsbluff are somewhat blurred, I view this website
as a means to focus on this neglected period of my past.
